2024 Shipping rates will increase an average net 5.9% and will be effective January 1, 2024.Fuel Surcharge
The OnTrac Fuel Surcharge is index-based and adjusted weekly. The Fuel Surcharge is assessed on the net package Rate plus all additional fees and Surcharges, as applicable.
The Fuel Surcharge will be based on the National U.S. Average On-Highway Diesel Fuel Price as most recently released by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), that is one (1) week prior to the adjustment, rounded to the nearest cent. For example, the Fuel Surcharge for the week of February 5, 2024, will be based on the National U.S. Average On-Highway Diesel Fuel Price released by EIA for the week of January 29, 2024. If the information released by the EIA is delayed, OnTrac may use released applicable fuel pricing information from an earlier calendar week.
Changes to Fuel Surcharges will be effective on the following Monday of an applicable calendar week. Fuel Surcharge percentages and thresholds are subject to change without prior notice. If the Fuel Surcharge falls outside the published range, the range will extend in $0.12 increments and the Fuel Surcharge will adjust in 0.25% increments.

For a package that meets multiple criteria listed above, only one Additional Handling charge will be assessed, in the following order: Weight, Length, Width, Packaging. An Additional Handling charge will not be assessed when an Over Maximum Limits Surcharge or Large Package Surcharge is applied. OnTrac also reserves the right to assess the Additional Handling Charge for any package that:

Address CorrectionWhen an address provided to OnTrac is incorrect or incomplete for purposes of completing delivery, OnTrac may correct or complete an address based on information obtained from the Shipper or consignee. In such instance, an Address Correction Surcharge will be applied. |

*Unless otherwise agreed to in writing by OnTrac, if a Shipper's written agreement with OnTrac indicates that it will apply a Residential Signature Surcharge; Large Package Surcharge; Unauthorized Surcharge; and/or a Surcharge for On-Call Pickup Services (" Supplemental Surcharges ") then the Supplemental Surcharges shall continue to apply to the Shipper's packages, as applicable. Additionally, and unless otherwise agreed to in writing by OnTrac, if Shipper has been invoiced for Supplemental Surcharges at any time prior to March 25, 2023, then the Supplemental Surcharges shall continue to apply to the Shipper's packages, as applicable. |
