Where incorporated by an agreement for transportation services between LaserShip and Shipper (“Agreement”) between LaserShip and a Shipper, the Shipper shall be responsible for paying the Surcharges listed on this webpage at the time of shipping in addition to the other rates, fees, and/or surcharges specified in its particular Agreement.

LaserShip uses an index-based surcharge that is adjusted monthly. Changes to the surcharge will be effective on the first of each month and will be posted approximately two weeks prior to the effective date. The surcharge is based on the U.S. Department of Energy’s National U.S. Average On Highway Diesel Fuel Prices for the month that is two months prior to the adjustment. For example, the fuel surcharge for April is based on February’s diesel fuel average.
Ground fuel surcharge percentages and thresholds are subject to change without prior notice. The fuel surcharge is assessed on the net package rate plus applicable transportation-related charges. If changes are made to the ground fuel surcharge percentages or thresholds beyond the listed index, the following table will be updated.

The cubic size of the package is calculated by measuring the length by the width by the height in inches, of the package at its most extreme points. If the package has a bulge or is irregularly shaped, include the bulge or irregular aspects of the package. The result is the cubic size in inches.
Calculation: Divide the cubic size in inches by the DIM factor to determine dimensional weight in pounds. Increase any fraction to the next whole pound. LaserShip charges the greater of the actual weight or dimensional weight.
Size Restriction: The maximum allowable size of a shipment limits any one dimension from exceeding 42” and total size from exceeding 10,000 cubic inches, and a maximum of 50 pounds.
